About

I've had a passion for programming since i was a small child and I've worked in a couple of different roles that were adjacent to IT development, for instance Developing spreadsheet automation apps in VBA for a accounts department and training people in the use of accounting software, managing incident escalations and user stories. When my last company was bought out and eventually shuttered i decided to re-educate myself to become a full stack web developer.
I'm originally from the Channel Island of Jersey but now reside in Manchester and am Happily married to my wife Suzi and have a pet hamster. My hobbies are playing role playing games and board games, DIY, and making bad Photoshop art.

My coding skills include HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including Node, React and Express), Python (including Flask), PHP, SQL and VBA. I've touched on a few other languages such as C# and GameMaker. My latest role had had me focus much more on my soft skills such as meeting management and managing stakeholders. I'm particularly good at chairing online meetings with large attendances.
